  3. I'm not sure you are aware of the irony I see in your statement – "It's Owner"? Could you explain how the public taking money out of its pocket and putting it in the council's coffers in order to gain access to PUBLIC areas benefits the PUBLIC?
That's what coucil rates and taxes are supposed to be for. Something the "Public Sector" in Israel has forgotten about eons ago (if it ever though that way).

I most realized what taxes are for from the following story:
A friend of mine with an Israeli pilot license went to America and in order to fly gliders there he went to the federal office in charge of such things to "convert" his Israeli license to an American one. After filling out some forms and getting the American license on the spot he asked whether he should pay something, the response was "PAY?? For a federal service?? That's what taxes are for!".
(Imagine that in the tone of "A Tiger?? In Africa???").

(BTW – You can't convert a foreign pilot license to Israeli pilot license that easy – Israel doesn't recognize pilot licenses from any country, including the USA, the country which invented and practically sets the standards for the rest of the world in that area – just another example of what the Israeli Public Sector thinks is its reason for existance).

  4. wow. no shit!

"To use this product, you need to install free software"

  6. That's exactly the point – it's a FEDERAL service already paid for by FEDERAL TAX. Nothing to do with how many people use this service.
Where are your taxes going to if not to provide public service?
